HISTORY
1990 - 1995
EVERYDAY HATS
Sarah launched her first collection in 1990 and soon became known for her quintessentially English, vintage-style cloche hats, which she sold throughout the world. Throughout the 90’s she collaborated with Liberty of London to produce an exclusive collection for their millinery department, handmade from her studio shop in Hockley, Nottingham. These designs were also made into a successful range of ‘Hat Kits’ available exclusively from The National Trust.
1995-2010
SPECIAL OCCASION MILLINERY
As Sarah's designs became increasingly more elaborate, a ‘Special Occasion Collection’ was a natural progression. Drawing from her background in theatrical costume design, Sarah worked with lavish fabrics to create a range of highly embellished silk hats, feather tiara and matching hand bags . Her designs conveyed a sense of nostalgia which continued to appeal to her international clients and during this time she embarked on a five year collaboration with David Jones Department Stores, in Australia.

COLOUR MATCHED HEADPIECES
In 2000 Sarah launched her collection of bespoke large-scale head pieces which she now specialises in matching to leading occasion wear collections. Working closely with independent stores throughout the UK, this service is at the forefront of the brand's success. This new direction has ensured the brand's popularity and inspired a number of new collaborations. Renowned for her colourist work, all head pieces are handmade to order by her Stamford studio in England.
In 2024 a capsule collection of Sarah’s flamboyant headpieces were made available to purchase directly from the website.
